Hi there! So, here we are my very first ever blog post! Meep! Can we have a little excited dance please?! That’s me, over there on the left…always good to put a face to a name. After what feels like a long time of thinking, deliberating, reading the why’s and why not’s and general faffing around, I have decided to blog! I can hear you all cheer wildly with excitement 😉 I’m hoping you will carry me along the way peeps, as I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what I am doing!! Jeepers, took me long enough to work out how to have a picture as a ‘header’ AND I don’t even like the one I managed to put up – sigh – it could be a loooonnnng road! Please hang in there.
So, what am I going to blog about – mmmmmmmm….well…..I guess it’s going to be a little bit of everything that I find myself doing as a mummy these days….eg playing with the kids, managing the housework, trying to make myself look semi funky and not frumpy, or dare I say it, ‘like a middle-aged school teacher, (yeah, that’s what my husbandy told me I had changed from being the other day, just what ya wanna hear, eh? 😉 ) Think he meant it in the right way?! I’ll also maybe throw in there some ways we try to manage our money, things are tight at the minute for everyone and hey, ‘every little helps’, and I’ll also maybe talk a little about my journey with God and the new chapter that is taking on in this new stage of life! If all that hasn’t got ya gripped (?!), I don’t know what will. For now, I’m off to drink a FULL, HOT cup of coffee and eat a WHOLE chocolate biccie in peace while the 3 little darlings are napping……….
Welcome to blogland. I look forward to seeing what you have to offer. Jean

Awh wow! Hi Julie! I LOVE Africa! What part are you in? We’ve been to Uganda (pre kids) many times and have a real place in our hearts for this beautiful continent. I LOVE the thought that you are doing these activities there 🙂 Big hugs and thanks for the encouragement xxx
