Trying to put a bit of yummy into this mummy #2

Boy, oh boy it has been one of those days where I am delighted it is 8pm and the kids are in bed! I’ve heard, “no mummy” ALL DAY, seen several hissy fits, (by myself and husband too if we’re honest!), apologised to the lady who was getting her bottom poked with a fork through the little holes in her chair – for a good 5 minutes before I noticed, chased and lost 3 kids in Ikea several times over and pretended to be amazed and really excited just too many times at the planes as they landed and took off!!!! *Sigh*

Anywho, I’m gonna share with you all a few more little pinterest inspired outfits that I have beautifully modelled this week 😉 This week I was feeling the cold a little – I think though I just think it’s colder because the sun hasn’t got it’s hat on in quite the same glory, temperatures though have still been pretty hot.

On Monday we headed to Hillsborough Forest Park, a lovely little forest in Northern Ireland, (for those reading further afield). I thought I’d need a jacket, secretly I really wanted an excuse to wear my new pleather 😉 one.  As a wee side note, I had bought this jacket on a whim on a PW church trip….I think I was trying to desperately cling to my youth and dodging the reality that I was in fact on a PW trip!!! I really love the jacket and had seen a lot of coral and turquoise/mint outfit combo’s on Pinterest so decided that would be my colour palette for the day……

Coral jacketAdd Turquoise to Your Summer Style

And here we go, here’s me……….my coral jacket (Menary’s), my turquoise scarf (Uganda), turquoise top (Dunnes) and basic jeans. I went for my trusty turquoise converse on my feeties – we were heading to a forest after all.

Looking at this picture, I’m thinking poor little converse may need a little clean! I also had on some super sparkly silver and turquoise bangles which you can’t see in these pictures unfortunately!  Anyone who knows me will know I LOVE jewellery!! I always have on ear rings, rings, bracelets and a necklace – the works 😉  Half way round the forest I had to cave and acknowledge the heat….jacket off, eldest son on….

I want to introduce you to someone who, honestly, I think I love!!! Ha! She blogs over at Pink Pistachio and I, I well I just love her!!! This little outfit was inspired by her.

How good does she make this outfit look eh?!

Here’s my attempt – dead comfy outfit for being at home with the kids! Got my top for £2 – whoop! in Exhibit!

And finally today I am wearing this… girl was all about being in photos today!!!! I was pinspired to try white on white with tan accents! I did also have a killer tan bag which I forgot to include in the snap, but it really helped finish the outfit off! I have to confess though 5 minutes later I swapped out the heels and went for tan pumps! On a plus, I am home and everything is still white!!!!

Here’s how to actually do it :

Off now to jump into the bath and relax!  Hopefully you’ve found some pinspiration too – from the pinterest pics at least if not from me 😉
