Evening everyone. I just want to share with you some wee pics from our fab day at Pumpkin Fest in Castle Ward…if you have never been be sure to keep in mind for next year! It was a really lovely family day out and we made lots of lovely memories right in the middle of what was at times chaos!
Here are some pictures from our day:
I LOVE our family picnics in the boot of our car – I know one day I’ll miss these!!!
Little L was DETERMINED to walk the WHOLE time!!! Here we are tramping across the fields dodging the cow patts!
We picked out 3 little pumpkins and set about scooping out the insides!!!
Giving them a quick bath – ready for decoration!
J wanted to make one that was smiling with some sharp, pointy teeth, S wanted one which was happy and most DEFINITELY had a nose! And L, well I’m pretty sure she said she wanted Cinderella’s pumpkin carriage!!!
Proud as punch!
Pumpkins carved we went off to explore the grounds…..
We came across some little animals too – we overheard someone tell their son, “oh that’s a camel”, whilst looking at an alpaca! Whoops!

My 3 little beauties had a blast at Pumpkin Fest – J didn’t want to come home, S talked about it the whole way home and L is still carrying around her pumpkin tucked under her arm 🙂 A lovely Autumn day and a lovely way to celebrate the season xx
(I could waffle about the educational benefits of such a day, but I’ll resist that temptation!!!!!)
My miss P was obsessed with her pumpkin…couldn’t stop stroking it.
