Hello, hello. I feel posts like this are almost ‘cheating’ in the blogging world, when all they are, are a bunch of photos and a few comments here and there. And I realise it can almost be like a little bit of torture – like when someone shows you 5 millions holiday snaps and inside you’re thinking, “I wasn’t there, I don’t really care”. But for me these wee posts are a way of stopping and recording little snippets from our life at this time. In a world where I hardly ever print off photos anymore, this is somewhere I can keep a little record and maybe in 10 years time I can show it to the kids and reminisce about the ‘good old days’ 🙂
So, here it is our October round up! We’ve been working our way through that Autumn Bucket List rightly!
Crunch and jump in piles of leaves….
Visit a farmers market
Decorate pumpkins
Make a scarecrow
Go for long walks and bike rides in beautiful places
We’ve been doing some fun play activities
We’ve done a spot of baking
Made LOTS of apple tarts and crumbles!!
Enjoyed Pumpkin Spice Lattes
Got emotional about how big my little girlie is getting
Enjoyed picnics outdoors in the unusually pleasant October weather!
Celebrated my birthday and my sisters 21st
Got dressed up
Made memories
October / Autumn you’ve been great!!! Although, if I’m honest I’m much more excited about starting a Christmas bucket list 🙂 !!
(You have also been great if you have made it this far with this post – sorry, mega loooonnnnng!!)
OK, now I’m teary eyes at how big your littles are, and it reminds me of when mine was a little! Looks like a great Fall, and loved the crafts!
I wonder how to phrase it to my 16 yr old so that I can con him into a Christmas bucket list!! 🙂
